Neglect of God's Word, Prayer, Corporate Worship, and Fellowship. These are the means Christ has provided for His chuch to be grounded in truth and to grow in Spiritual maturity.

Why don't you just walk right up to Jesus and slap him in the face, Tell him thanks for all he went through for you, but no thanks, since you already have another Shepherd to guide you in all things.
Jesus is our bridegroom. You seem to think it's okay to commit adultery with your Pastor. I assure you that you are mistaken. Jesus doesn't approve of his bride sleeping around with others.

But I have an inkling you’ll merely claim to follow God Almighty. If that is so, you might be unaware of the fact everybody else claims to follow God Almighty or Jesus or whatever name for the Messiah or God they choose just like you do. In fact, just like everybody else, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses claim to be the ONLY true followers of God.
So George, I’m assuming that you are the real McCoy and that you regularly share fellowship with likeminded believers and ya all are subject to elder rule. Is this so George and do you, as an individual, meet together in fellowship with others?
You need not mention names or locations. I just kinda wanna know if you really are accountable to the plurality of elders you talk about. Or are you your own plurality of elder, in which case, you’re the lone and only true believer dwelling in a great sea of worldwide unbelief.
Just let this opportunity be an honest tell all about the only right belief. The world is waiting! There’s really no need to be so secretive. But then again, there seem to be a number around here who shun transparency of belief. I figure they must be ashamed of it
Dave, i do not remember you asking me where i fellowship with LIKE MINDED people.
The problem i have is finding like minded people as myself which believe in the plurality of elders, having open meetings to discuss the Word of GOD Almighty; and allowing for 1st Corinthians 11-14 to be the way believers are to be meeting.
When i lived in Philly there was a fellowship i was involved with, where plurality of elders had oversight, where people could share the Word, people asked for prayer, needs would be made public.
We broke bread during communion dinner where the woman made their best meals and single people brought drinks and dessert.
People shared the Word, would pray and sing songs they had been thinking about.
Ephesians 4:7,11-16: To each of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it....It was He {Not the church} who gives some to be **PROPHETS**, some to be **EVANGELISTS**, and some to be **PASTORS** and **TEACHERS**, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and became mature attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ....Speaking the truth **IN LOVE**, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is Christ. I was saying there was no need to argue since Jesus made this issue CRYSTAL CLEAR - [We have one teacher/leader = Messiah].
Are these comments over the top? Haven't you read the Prophets of the Old Testament? If you're unaware; they said much worse about those who chose not to follow the instructions of God.
So here we have a woman teaching others to follow a Pastor. When Messiah, our bridegroom says we are only to follow him. Then she has the gall to call others prideful and not understanding the word while she cheats on her Bridegroom with her Pastor.
Her excuse is; her Pastor is "Spirit-filled". If she is Spirit- filled then why does she claim she must follow him when we ALL are supposed to be following the Spirit of Messiah???
No it is NOT over the top. Idolatry is a SERIOUS matter. Why do you think this is the FIRST Commandment?:
"Thou shalt not have strange Gods before me. Thou shalt not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters under the earth."

This woman is teaching against the teachings of the one who gave his life to save us. She is teaching WICKEDNESS and someone needs to say so.
If ya'll want to follow a man; go be Catholic and follow the Pope. They claim to have the vicar of Christ right here right now on earth for ya'll to follow. Or stay Protestant and pick a Pastor or Minister to follow. Or do as Prophetic does; choose to follow misinterpretated teachings of Paul - another MAN.
As for me; I choose to follow God and His Messiah as instructed by the Holy Scriptures.
Well, I probably shouldn’t say “anyone”. I do agree with you that Roman Catholicism appears to worship the Pope and “Mother Mary” and a number of objects even though some RCs deny this yet their acts and facts about the their acts prove otherwise
