homelesschristian View Profile History	John 3:30 he must increase but I must decrease with a slice of humble pie 🥧 Posted : 19 Feb, 2025 08:00 AM 1 Peter 3:4 tells us that, “You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.” Remember, Jesus was meek (humble) and lowly in heart (Matthew 11:29). In saying this, I have to ask the question, “Are you quiet and gentle all the time or do you need a little work in this department?” I’d say that we all need a little taming of the tiger within us and an extra lesson on humility! Trust me. God’s already begun the process in me. But let’s go a little deeper. Are you one that goes off when you’re angry (outburst of anger)? Do you get upset when you don’t have your way and express it? Do you disrespect your authority, because they just don’t understand your position or where you’re coming from? Or are you a little rough in your dealings of how you work, instruct, help, or nurture the people around you? Be honest, because these are some healthy self-examination questions to ask yourself in your spare time, especially if you want God to exalt you or change your current situation. I’ll admit that I’ve missed the mark on this one at times. Sometimes I’ve gotten a little snappy with authority, or may not have been as gentle in my dealings. However, when I’ve made these mistakes, I’ve gone to God about it quickly to confess my fault, ask of His forgiveness and repent of it. Hint…when you begin walking closer to God you’ll begin to recognize your errors more rapidly, and take care of it quickly. So if we want to see deliverance take place in our lives and experience God-ordained promotions, then we need to take heed to what 1 Peter 5:6 says, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.” & Proverbs 15:33, "Fear of the Lord teaches a person to be wise; humility precedes honor." When proud Cain’s false worship got exposed for the fraud it was he responded by killing his brother. Thats how bitter false teachers behave. False teacher Benny Hinn said out loud how he wished he had a “Holy Ghost machine gun” to blow away discernment preachers just because they exposed his false beliefs and money grabbing.
