King James Bible John 7:16

Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

New King James Version

Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.

New American Standard Bible

So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.

NASB 1995

So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me.

Jesus therefore answered them, and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me.

As we can see, doctrine is nothing more than teaching. Those claiming that doctrine is bad have created their own form of bad doctrine, in fact, it is a self-contradictory doctrine that claims all doctrine is bad.

According to the Bible what you believe does matter. If it goes according to the Bible then it is of God and if it doesn't then it is of the devil. Simple as that.
