Hate the sin, love the sinner according to Scripture

The scriptures i am going to use for this discussion are Matthew 9:9-13 and Romans 5. Jesus, the apostles and Paul used different approaches when reaching others with the gospel without compromising Scripture. With the religious crowd they were much harder on them, with the sinners they were much easier on them yet the message remained the same. We are to speak and demonstrate the truth of God's Word in love as demonstrated in Eph 4 and 1 Cor 9:19-23. Matthew 23 warns against self-righteous bigotry and Romans 6 warns against approving of your own sin and others' sin. A biblical middle ground is necessary with God's help so we as Christians don't go to either extreme so we don't do great disservice to the gospel. I pray this teaching will be a great blessing to you all in Jesus' name and that He would give you wisdom on how to reach others with the gospel with the gifts He has given us in the body of Christ for His glory, not our own.

Well we also need to observe Mark 6:11 shake the dust off of our feet too There are situations in our lives where God calls us to stand firm, proclaim truth, and give patient testimony. Sometimes we need to continue until we see the results of that testimony. Other times God gives us the freedom to move on. We figuratively “shake the dust off our feet” when, under the Holy Spirit’s direction, we surrender those people to the Lord and emotionally let go. We have the freedom then to move into the next phase of ministry. Jesus’ instruction to “shake the dust off our feet” reminds us that we are only responsible for our obedience to God, not for the results of that obedience

Thanks for the reminder homelesschristian. Zeal and wisdom is needed in evangelism and discipleship ministry and we all have different parts to play in the body of Christ in reaching the lost without compromising scripture.
