With the help of my neighbor I successfully cleaned all the snow from my solar panels so my system was able to charge my batteries fully by the end of the day.

Does that count as good news?

Could you come over and clear my snow as well?

Can you come over and clear my snow as well? Then that would be GOOD NEWS.

It was GOOD NEWS. I'm glad you got snow cleared off of your solar panels and you got your batteries to charge.

I could use a woman to charge my batteries. My pick-up doesn't want to start. I need several women to come over and get it running. Then I'm serving hot cocoa and warm cider.

I thought to pay someone to move the snow, to come over and clear the driveway, but there is nothing like a dozen women to help me move the snow. It would really make a guy happy to have that kind of team.

I wish I could have gotten some of pretty women to clear the show from my panels in their bikinis but all I could muster is my old and ugly as I am male neighbor in his down jacket to do it. I can't complain though because all it cost me was a couple of atta boys.

Nothing good to report today other than the snow is melting relatively quickly around here which is good so hopefully we won't have ice on to many side roads. Most people here don't know how to drive in snow and of course almost nobody is able or equipped to drive on ice.

It reminds me of what happened here several years ago when we had about the same amount of snow but it stayed cold for over a week and the snow melted really slowly. I kept putting off doing any repair jobs but finally I thought it was safe to venture out but right before I got to the customers house there was a small downhill section of the road and it was shaded all the time and was all ice so as I started downhill someone else was coming uphill in my lane and if I so much as tapped my brakes they locked up and I just slid. Fortunately the other guy was able to get out of my way in time otherwise I would have just slammed into him. That would have made things difficult for me because insurance wouldn't have fixed my 98 Ranger and the amount I would have gotten from them probably wouldn't have covered another decent truck. I bought that truck new in 98 and sure would have missed my old buddy.

Warmer week here.

Just might thaw out some drain pipes.

I guess that I never really thought about drain pipes freezing. If it gets to cold I guess that a person might not be able to use the sink...even if they have running water, is that right?

The septic line outside appears to be frozen, so nothing is flowing out.

One of the perks of living in a state that is freezing cold six months of the year. We should better advertise it. More people would come to live here.

How do you handle such an inconvenience?
