Posted : 28 Jan, 2026 03:21 PM -The chances of a partial government shutdown have accelerated in recent days as Senate Democrats rally around efforts to reject a bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security, in response to the second fatal shooting of a U.S. citizen by federal agents.- (of course the guy that was shot was threatening police and he had a gun...but I guess thats a side story) The point is that democrats refuse to allow tax payer funds to go to organizations that are helping to keep many Americans safe. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2026/01/26/government-shutdown-january-2026/88358965007/ Post Reply
