Through CDFF, God brought us together on December 13, 2019. What started as a long-distance relationship became a beautiful journey of faith, patience, and trust in His perfect plan. After years of praying, waiting, and trusting God's timing, we are now together as a married couple here in Ohio, USA as of February 2026. Our story is a testimony that long-distance relationships can succeed when God is at the center. To everyone who is still waiting and praying for God's best, don't lose hope. Keep praying fervently, trust His timing, and believe that His plans are always greater than our own. What God has ordained, no distance, obstacle, or circumstance can stop. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act." — Book of Psalms God's timing is always perfect. Ignore everything feminism has to say even when it's spoken in Church. Sadly most Christian men have a heart of gold and will let their wives take advantage of that and many wives bring in feminist ideals into the marriage which will eventually bring about the destruction of both partners the marriage and family if there are children. There's nothing in feminism that's edifying for the marriage. Feminist equality sounds good but it's not the equality that God has given us. God put men in charge for a reason and shirking that will ruin a marriage and your husband will not be able to stop it from happening because that power has been given to women by Satan through feminism because he knows how easy it is to convince women to destroy their marriages. (see EVE as an example in the Garden of Eden) Also look at divorce statistics to see that 80% of divorces are from women. That and that alone in my opinion was the most important reason God put men in charge of the marriage. Men will sacrifice their happiness (and life) for the family whereas women will sacrifice their family for their happiness. Which is stupid because in the end everybody ends up unhappy so divorce is almost never a win for anybody. Listed below are scriptures that are frequently ignored in Churches especially if it requires a woman to be in submission to a man. except for the ones about what is expected of men are often pointed out adneausum But then again men are always expected to bend over backwards and are the first ones blamed when things go wrong. but it takes two to tango. “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.” (Eph 5:22-23) “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.” (Col 3:18) “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands.” (I Pet 3:1) “Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.” (I Cor 11:9) This isn't a one-way street. In return for submission the man has responsibilities also: “Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife sees that she reveres her husband.” (Eph 5:33) “Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner “ (I Pet 3:7) “Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. “ (Col 3:19) “So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church.” (Eph 5:28-29) Post Reply
