Hello from NE South Dakota! I've always wanted to visit England! I got to visit Ireland in 2013, but haven't visited England yet. Soon!

If I were to visit London, what are three places I just have to see, besides Buckingham Palace?

On my way home from work I saw a man sitting at the bus stop. As I passed he asked me if I could by him something I said I don’t have any money. But standing at the bus stop I thought I could use my card & get him something. I went over and asked him what he wanted he said a pack of cigarettes I said I’m not buying you cigarettes & went back to wait for my bus the audacity did make me chuckle…:-)

Years ago, I gave a beggar money once, and a minute later, I found him in a music store buying cd's and kissing a beautiful woman. Back then, cd's were just coming out, and it would be years before I'd buy a cd because they were too expensive.

When I lived in a city, I often chose to save money by walking. But when I walked, people often asked me for money so that they could ride the bus. Then I was walking so I would not have to pay to ride the bus.

Yes, sometimes I have bought a stranger a meal.

When you give people outright cash, you don't know what the money is going for, but often it goes to alcohol and cigarettes and other behaviors that one does not want to support.

Yes thats very true, when you give someone money there’s no way of knowing how they’re going to spend it. Had I had money on me that day I wouldn’t of known he was at the bus stop waiting for someone to buy him cigarettes…:-)

Another time, I was at a bus stop and a woman asked me for money so she could ride the bus. Then the woman became upset at me for not giving her money to ride the bus. She used a Bible verse on me. I then used a Bible verse on her. I answered, "The Bible also says not to give pearls to pigs." She became so angry that she wanted to kill me. Her skin turned color from my answer, and I saw the kettle was ready to explode. Just then, the bus came and I was glad to get on. Lo and behold, the woman got on as well. She had money to pay the bus fare. Yet, she had the gull to ask me for money for fare when she had money for fare already. Then I saw that she wanted to get ahead in life through begging. That she liked easy money and wanted to place her wants ahead of other people's wants. That she was a Taker more than a Giver. Some people do well in a lifestyle of Getting.
