If you mean do I believe that two people will be attracted to each other on every level -- first by God drawing them together, then yes. " Do you believe there is one great love out there & you've got to find it?" Nope. I don't believe there is one and only one person who can fulfill God's purpose to bring men and women together in union with Him at the center. As for "sole" mates --- Steve, you crack me up with your barefooot references. You just walk all over us with those remarks. Maybe you should tread more lightly? Plus people like Ruth, Esther, Abigale, etc kinda messed up. I think we can be in God's providential care, I think the more we are like Him, the more we want Him, the more we ant some one that is more like Him too, and I think there are some inborn preferences, but love is act of free will really. :) Post Reply

I do not think God would make it THAT difficult on us. I believe as many of you, that because of the gift of free will, we can choose our mate. Because God is Alpha & Omega, He knows what we will do. I believe it is right and proper for us to ask God and seek His wisdom in the decision since He is a reader of hearts. Because we are predestined, wow, how important is it for us to get with someone with like callings that will compliment and strengthen the other's? He said to acknowledge Him in all our ways and He will direct our path. So if I am being pursued by someone I ask God if I should proceed. He knows best whether the guy is an abuser, I'd have to take him out in his sleep, be doing 25 to life, can't raise my kids etc etc....:laugh: Chill out, I'm playin', dang.
