How should love in a marriage really work?

Hey all, so I was just wondering, i read somewhere that whole falling in love concept is a load of rubbish and that Christians can actually make a marriage work by choosing to love someone, rather than meeting the one. What's the deal please?

do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?... Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

2 Corinthians 6:14

For those who have never been married, it's not impossible to "fall in love with the one" (it happened on this site plenty of times) We can choose to love everyone (as Jesus taught), but NEVER to lower our standards on who we marry.

Love is a choice you make. Can you have the emotional love as well absolutely or be more attracted to one person than another again yes. Think of how Jesus loved us maybe that would help....He did His fathers will or made a choice to die for us...Blessings, John
