Poet Nikki Giovanni said we love because it’s the only true adventure.

Is love an adventure? Some of us may think that FINDING LOVE through our search here is the adventure.

What do you think about love?

Looking for love is an Adventure.

Where one looks may not be always where you find it.

Some people don't know what Love is.

1Corinthians 13 chapter.

Love is a big word.

Everyone wants to be loved. When I was young, my earthlydad wasn't the most loving and caring dad, so I seek a Fatherly love. While I was seeking, I found myself sitting in a church every Sunday for 2 years and thinking that love is too good to be true. The Lord sought me and revealed to me and the day I answered to that alter call, my heart was all His. So, yes, seeking is an adventure and in it is an adventure. I am still being loved on and He is still working on me. He has me on His palm and am willing to embark to whatever adventure He has for me. He is my first love and my priority. He is my loving Father.

Edamame2023 You’re absolutely right, “love” is a big word.

I doubt the many who speak or write about love actually know what true love is.

The Bible defines “love” differently according to subject matter and context. For example, we’re told not to “...love the way the world loves...”. In another context, we told to “...love as God loves...”

Obviously one type of love is antithetical to another kind of love.

You’re right, love is a big word. So when we speak about love, what we mean?

Or rather: “...what DO we mean?”
