This book has information that will blow your mind just like it did mine! We are not near the end time spoken of in the Bible, we are IN the end time right now! Praise God!

At one time, I wanted to be a minister, and our church hosted tons of evangelists that flooded our minds with end times prophetic events, flying saucer stuff, Armegedon and all that... But, not much has changed, and Paul the Apostle warned us that we were in the end times continually, and the First Church lived in the belief that they would not die...
Well, I am not poking fun at the suggested site at all... looked at it... but am now more careful about what I read... and if you want some solid stuff on which to worry, take a look at the best selling book Apocalypse 2012. (Or look at the web site, December 21, 2012).. The book takes you through the current world conditions -- using scientifically backed data -- the problems that we are facing, coming up on the year 2012, actually December 21, 2012. Scripturally, while no man knows the exact time, this appears to be the focus on lots of events that aren't exactly heart-warming. Be interested in your take... look up "December 21, 2012 on the net.

Thanks for your reply! I don't disagree that many people have tried for centuries to understand the prophecies and that many have been dead wrong in what they told people. I would, however, like to point out a couple things...
- 1. - Contrary to popular belief, the bible says that some of us will know and understand the end time!
Dan 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many�
Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
Matt 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
1 Thess 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
People have tried for centuries to interpret the prophecies of the bible, but they just couldn�t understand. Now that it�s the time of the end we can understand them. It�s not because we�re smarter or more spiritual than people in the past, it�s simply because God sealed them up until the time of the end, which is the time we�re living right now!
- 2. - In your reply you stated that Paul warned us that we were in the end times, but I disagree that he meant it was to be in his lifetime. Here in Thessalonians he is actually telling the people preaching that it was going to happen any day, that it was NOT about to happen.
2 Thess 1:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; Dan. 11.36 so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
Paul is telling them that there will be a great falling away first (the Dark Ages), and that the Antichrist will be revealed at the event called the Abomination of Desolation (Matt 24:15, where the Anitchrist proclaims to be God).
I totally understand wanting to be careful of what you read. I am VERY careful of what I read. And if it doesn't line up with scripture I discard it immediately! We also have to understand that God gave us prophecy so that we would know His word is true, and so we would know when He is coming and what is going to happen.

Very well put, and I have to agree with what you have written. Most importantly, what you replied with is scripture based and who can argue with scripture? As I have stated before, I grew up in a Church that did not believe Revelation was any more than a prophet's dream, so once I started to fully understand the REAL meaning of Revelation, it really took a hold on me. People really need to wake up and realize what is upon us. We are all so busy making money, raising children, having fun, etc, that sometimes we seem oblivious to the fact that THIS IS REAL. For anyone who hasn't read the book yet, you really need to.
Gene, thank you for sharing the web site for 12/21/12. I will check that out today.

Hi! I'm so blessed by the book "Finding God's Will" by Zac Poonen. It's actually a booklet and it's full of encouragement for us to be more dependent on the Holy Spirit. Check it out! God bless.

I definitely agree that everyone should be careful about what they read. I take that a step further and pray for discernment. The Holy Ghost will definitely guide and provide an answer when your heart and mind are open to receiving the truth. Everyone seems to understand the same scripture so differently. It is important to ask God what is correct and what is true. I have read what is on the site, and I agree with alot of points especially about baptism, about Jesus' prophecies and how we are now living in the end of times. I also agree that we should be reading from the King James Version of the Bible because it is the most accurate translation we have. But definitely keep in mind that the Bible is true as far as it is translated correctly.

Hey everyone ...
I just finished the book 'It's not about me" By Max Lacado (not sure if i spelled his last name right) ... and i would recormeed it for anyone who knows someone who thinks they are the center of the world (for lack of other words) ...
it showed me so many things ... i had no idea i was doing... and it helped me understand much more why God loves me so much!!!!
i also just finished another book called "Boy Meets Girl" By Joshua Harris (who also wrote the book "I've Kissed Dating Good-Bye")
I just love the fact that a grow man could write something a young women and older women would love and to tell what he was feeling during this point in time...

I've been reading Joel Rosenberg's books lately, and have been riveted! When you take into account that although writing fiction, and the events actually unfolded in many instances before the books were published but after being written. Amazing; simply raising goosebumps.
