Does skin color / ethinicty / race really matter here on cdff ?Posted : 30 Nov, 2017 01:41 AMYou generalize americans too much. There are plenty that prefer strictly their own "kind" but they tend to have been socially bullied out of being able to actually say it publically. For many uttering the "racist blasphemy" of wanting to exclusively date your own "race" is social suicide. Also keep in mind the ones that are really strict about this would try to avoid social contact with men of other races in the first place. The difference is in europe this is less taboo (partially because frenchmen and englismen for example are generally kinda racist towards each other in a pattern common accross european countries) so people are more open about it. Also.... this is true for ALL people globally, black mothers dont want their sons to marry white woman and chinese mothers dont want their sons to marry black woman etc. |

Does skin color / ethinicty / race really matter here on cdff ?Posted : 1 Feb, 2018 12:54 AMPersonally, I believe in diversifying of genetic codes. I wouldn't mind people from other races. However, for those who prefer people of a particular race, they should indicate it on their profiles. I respect tastes and preferences. |

Does skin color / ethinicty / race really matter here on cdff ?Posted : 1 Feb, 2018 01:31 PMYeah, everyone's got their preferences. I generally prefer Asian and Latin-American, but my door's not locked to others. I saw a black woman the other day that I almost got into an accident over. |

Does skin color / ethinicty / race really matter here on cdff ?Posted : 1 Feb, 2018 01:35 PMHey Rambo, it's true that here in the States you get folks who only want to date their own people of their own ethnicity. Sometimes that's because of bigotry, and sometimes it's just the preference. I think though that as we distance ourselves further and further from the slave era, the less and less interracial marriages are an issue. Nor should they be. But, I agree with your point: If a person wants to only marry within their own race, they ought not be condemned. |
