Of the two genders, women are probably more adept at sending signals than men, but how good are they at receiving signals sent by men? I mean this in the usual manner -- indirect expressions of interest that don't rise to the level of flirting (for example: stating on a forum that you're into the same things she is on a thread where she's posted); I'm assuming multiple instances of the same kind of behavior. Me...I'm terrible at seeing signals that a guy is interested in more than friendship until it's obvious to everyone except me...then I may realize but even then there is a possibility I will think they are just humoring me. There have been times when someone has written some small thing in a post and I have wanted to send them a person message to get more information. I do it with the ladies because It's no big deal but I do not do it with guys because I do not want them to get the wrong impression... Post Reply
