I wish I could, but it's too expensive for me right now, and the last time I went wasn't a great experience anyway. If I could find a place that I was comfortable with, that was reasonably priced, I might actually allow myself to spend the money once in a blue moon. Any interesting stories about your experiences with manicures and pedicures? The last time I went, the girl talked very loudly on her phone (in a foreign language, I might add, so I couldn't even enjoy her side of the conversation!) the ENTIRE time. She wasn't paying attention to what she was doing, she cut me once, she didn't do a good job on my hands (my feet looked fine)...it was just bad. That's the last time I'll go that THAT place! View Profile History	Manicures and pedicures Posted : 2 Jul, 2011 01:01 PM I love pedis. Even though I rarely wear sandals.... I want to know my toes are pretty and taken care of. I couldn't afford pedicures for a long long time, but now I am in a position where I can, and it is the only luxury I allow for myself. I found a place that is so friendly and they speak English and are not expensive. It is a blessing from God! (got my toes painted fire-engine red for July). Manicures are just ok, for me. Post Reply

Since then, I've gotten 4-5, but I'm lucky enough to live near a salon that offers very reasonably priced pedis and manis. Manis just don't work out for me because the polish chips off quickly. One time when I was in getting a pedi, I witnessed an argument between a customer and an employee that resulted in the police coming to solve the issue. Who knew a broken fake nail could be blown to such large proportions?! :) Post Reply
Nkatty View Profile History	Manicures and pedicures Posted : 3 Jul, 2011 01:55 PM Was to get a pedi sometime back...had taken a friend to this saloon...an a worker their wanted to do my nails...an i was like...i only did my nails yesterday...lol...where i live...there are guys who go around doing nails...an they are very gud!....but i usually prefer doing my nails...at my own time...durin the weekend! simplyme_jaz View Profile History	Manicures and pedicures Posted : 4 Jul, 2011 09:50 PM I knew that is so expensive there in U.S. even going to see a DENTIST just to have your teeth clean it will cost you so much.Anyway having manicure and pedicure here in Philippines is very cheap,it will just cost u less than a dollor if only manicure or pedicure you want..If both it will just cost you around $2.39 and if you dont like to go in Salon,you can always have a home service just give an extra tip.And me and mom usually having a home service coz its more convenient to her because of her age. Me and my mom loves pedicure we having it twice a month depends hows your ingrone/dry skin grows fast.I can do my nails but im not good taking out the ingrone or dry skin and im lucky enough that i dont have that ingrone.When i like to change my nail polished i can always paint own my own... I like the nail shop that I go to * London Nails *. A guy always does mine. He does a great job. He's very nice too & carrys a good convo. I used to go their twice a month to get a pedi with pink and white french tip pedi and french tip acrylics on my hands. They give such good feet and leg massages too. Lately I have been painting my own nails tho. I may take my daughter to get a pedi today tho. She loves pink. Last time when we went to visit our aunty in L.A we all went to get our nails done and they painted lil flowers on her toes and put a lil jewel on it. Post Reply
