What are some things you've seen done to indicate that two people are married, paired off, joined, exclusive? Aside from wedding rings on the left ring finger?

Holding hands? I've never seen any accessories/clothing besides rings though.

Without the rings there is no "indication of marriage".

"people are ..... paired off, joined, exclusive? "

When seeing each other is a given and a regular thing, with no one in the relationship having to ask the other specifically.

When your friends automatically ask after your other (i.e. "How is Suzie?")

When they have met your parents and your family, and THEY ask after the other person

When they are invited to family gatherings

When your friends stop trying to fix you up with someone else

When you lose all interest in searching profiles on a single site, or even in your own profile.

I'm sure others can come up with more.

(I'm just going to copy my post from the Ask a Guy section, lol)

@SWB. It's really hard to say unfortunately. Like BG and Lady said [in Ask a Guy], a man has it written all over his face. A woman on the other hand, well, we're not always so easy to read, especially for a guy. I'm guessing you're still having trouble figuring this specific girl out? What are some other things about her that you've noticed? Like things she has said to you or how she acts around you?

Godslamb, that was actually pretty good! I liked some of them! I'm thinking maybe like, a piercing, or a shared experience that leaves a mark, or a tattoo. I think it was actually pixy who said we should start a thread about something like this.
