First , just because a man doesn’t drink doesn’t mean he loves Jesus. Some atheists don’t drink or smoke. Many men who think they are Christians might not drink or smoke but they prove a serious lack of love for Jesus because they ignore the commands of Jesus. Second: If a man OR a woman refuses to obey Jesus they might not even be a Christian‼️‼️ Jesus made that VERY clear‼️‼️Another example, if a man OR a woman REFUSES to share the gospel that Jesus commanded us to share—that person might not be a Christian. Third: It’s more important to look for a person who is actively producing spiritual fruit. One fruit of the spirit is biblical DISCERNMENT. That means the person isn’t easily fooled by false teachers. But then again, this assumes the woman in search of a man has discernment and is well established in sound biblical doctrine herself AND isn’t likewise fooled by false doctrine. 😇 Post Reply

Matthew 11:18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.” Luke 7:33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ 34 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ Yes, Paul says that DRUNKARDS WILL NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD. (1 Corinthians 6:10) and he speaks against drunkards in 1 Corinthians 5:11 as well. Other than that, it is a personal choice. More, he encourages a little wine. (1 Timothy 5:23) Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses. (1 Timothy 5:23) I don't drink. I do not find it a sin to drink. It is regarded as a sin to become drunk. Noah got drunk and had some bad words for a son who discovered him. Noah was among the righteous men. Lot got drunk and he did a no no. Others like to get people drunk so they can see what they shouldn't see. (Habakkuk 2:15) So, it is not a good idea getting drunk. But maybe it is good when one is having surgery to dull the pain when there is a lack of modern approaches. But more the women on this site probably do drink and probably welcome men who drink. It comes down to a personal choice. The Bible says our bodies are a temple. The Bible also says not to refuse some things that God has given to us to enjoy. It is your personal choice whether you drink or not. I don't even like the smell of alcohol. We should treat our bodies as a temple. But a little drink is no sin. Jesus refused vinegar on the cross. Many would. I have to dilute my apple cider vinegar, or I cannot swallow it. I prefer to take it in tablet form. But I am not frequent to take it. Anyway, good luck in swaying women away from men that drink. It seems that they are the most sought after. Post Reply

I post biblical based articles on Bible topics and Relationships most times, unless I am defending myself against a Harasser over Bible and inulsting remarks against Women on here. Many things the Bible teaches against as Sin, but to make your own choices like You usually do. Jesus is the judge of all your sinfulness. Many Christian women do not care to even Use this Dating Forum. Looking for a True Christian man. Those that View probably know what you 4 do on here. Never will get a True Christian woman. It is like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in your fiery furnace. Then there is this 4th guy. I am very sure this 4th guy is Jesus. You don't like what he says in a number of his teachings, so you discard them right and left. You don't like much his teachings against divorce and his teachings against marriage after divorce. There are other teachings of his you don't like either like "anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:19) Nor do you like Jesus saying Matthew 5:18. "Until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law." You might not even like John 14:23-24 where Jesus says, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me." You do like to teach other than what Jesus teaches on a number of subjects, so I am thinking that Jesus is THE FOURTH MAN that you do not like to listen to on this site. You are staunchly against some of his teachings. Feminism has too much a hold upon you and you want it placed inside the church and taught from the pulpits. Your message on divorce and marriage after divorce and your message against men. You want to preach it every where. You hate any message against divorce. You hate Jesus' words against divorce and you hate Jesus words against marriage after divorce and you HATE MEN. You hate submission to men. You want to rule over men. Plainly, you are against Jesus' teachings on divorce. Jesus speaks against divorce and marriage after divorce while you advocate for divorce and you advocate for marriage after divocce. You further ignore Paul's teaching 1 Corinthian 7:10-11 where Paul says that a woman must not separate from her husband, but if she does, she must remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband and that a husband must not divorce his wife. But you teach the opposite of that and THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT JESUS SAYS. WHO IS TO CORRECT YOU? You listen to no one. You discard the Bible verses that bother you. You are a FREE-THINKER enslaved by YOUR OWN THOUGHT. NEVER DO YOU TEACH WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES IN MATTER OF DIVORCE OR MARRIAGE AFTER DIVORCE. And other Bible passages, you treat the same way. You like to do THE OPPOSITE of what the Bible teaches on many subjects. Then you want to teach others to do the same. You reject Jesus' teachings many times. Post Reply

You got off subject when I was on subject and I said nothing wrong in what I wrote on drinking Yet you treat me with disdain for participating on the subject of drinking which you began. What did I say that was wrong? What in what I wrote on drinking was wrong? But you steered off subject and have gone a frequent direction. And I followed the direction you chose. Post Reply
