So true! Your reference verse (James 4:17) is right on point that if I know to do good (By the POWER of His Spirit I know I can by FAITH!) yet I 'doeth it NOT' then I'm back to sinning! Right Moon? For instance if I was to go back to partying and fornication's, when I know NOW that it was NOT good (a SIN!), then I will have gone back to the flesh! Right? Of course I'm a free will creature and CAN ALWAYS decide if I want to change my mind rather to keep DYING to the flesh or serving it. Right? Even if David and Quiz teach that we are supposedly a robots now??? This is how we know the 'once saved always saved' doctrine is an abomination to the context of the ENTIRE Bible and its sad that people like David and Quiz teach that it is ok to go back to those sins – AND REPENT OF SINNING, GO BACK TO SINNING, REPENT OF SINNING, GO BACK TO SINNING, REPENT OF SINNING, GO BACK TO SINNING like a pink energizer bunny that those two think we have a license to do, that is continue to live in sin! 'Submit (willfully by choice and by His POWER in us!) yourselves therefore to YHWH. RESIST (By HIS POWER above) the devil, and he will flee from you!' WOW! So He always gives us a way out from sinning by HIS POWER to delver us from going back to sinning! For greater is He that is in YOU and than he (the devil) is of the world! AMEN AMEN AMEN! Post Reply

Imagine then how David and Quiz think we become robots when we first accept Christ in dying for our >>>past<<< sins and we have a license then to go on and commit >>>present and future<<< sins??? It's sins of omission versus sins of commission . I don't believe if I'm born again Christian of 20 years slips and commits a sin but they will lose their salvation I still think it's a process of backsliding first continue to ignore the conviction of the holy Spirit then one is in grave danger of losing their salvation Post Reply

Ephesians 5, continues, how we were in darkness, and that is of course when nothing grows. But now that light came, we have fruit grown, that is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.. Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Nothing grows in darkness, that is how you know they still walk on in darkness.. Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Even though they say they are in the light or they are born again, it has to agree to all God says. When anyone does acts of hating their brother, they are really in darkness, as that is evil fruit, and not covered under Gods testimonies ever. Likewise, the ones who truly love their brother are in the light, they never stumble, their fruit is not evil.. 1 John 2:9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. So Christs rules are clear, the corrupt tree does not have mixtures of good and evil fruit at any time, neither does the good tree have mixtures of good and some corrupt fruit at any time.. Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. But what God does say again, we do not know God if we do any evil, even if they again insist they walk in the light and fail to love their brother or if they say they did good always and slip up on a certain day and do evil against them, as love works no ill to your brother and love never fails, as charity is perfect when we put it on.... 3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. 1 Corinthians 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. Colossians 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And conveniently moonlight has mentioned James 4:13-17.
