Admin	Bereans Posted : 27 Oct, 2020 03:55 PM Acts 17:10-12 10 As soon as it was night, the believers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men. The Bereans were considered more noble. Why? Because, they didn't just take Paul's words at face value. They studied the scriptures and checked what he said against them. They used their brains. Reminds me of when Jesus said that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these(meaning children). Know what one of the things that children do? They ask questions. Lots of them. Then, if the historic heresies he embraces get exposed he starts quoting Bible verses about “love”. Nearly all false teachers I’ve known over the years always default to “love” when challenged to give an account for what they believe Post Reply

I also needed that. Its hard for me not to be so competitive so much of the time in posting for play here on this forum BUT unlike confused David and Quiz I like to be a BEREAN, to use my common sense "brains" as Ivy posted in her own words, to of course search the Scriptures daily to see if the doctrines of this forum be so according the ENTIRE CONTEXT to the rest of the Bible , not just a few verses or chapters to come to truth as Quiz says to do! Its cold working again today! Perhaps I should call myself a BURRRRRRR-EAN then Adam and Ivy??? Whatya think? Post Reply

It seems obvious to me that David's conscience is bothering him and YHWH's set apart Spirit is speaking to him. Perhaps he has a pet sin he needs to repent of and ADAM7777 posts convict him in a round about way! You see David does not like RIGHTOUSNESS BY FAITH posts of ADAM7777 with his teachings obviously! David would just as soon teach his "jesus" that paid the price of sin, DEATH (not eternal torment like David says by his "church" doctrine teachings) so that David can go on sinning everyday, yet claiming he is not "practicing" it! LOL! Say David! You seem like your as sour as lemon today (and most days)!? Why not be a Berean as Ivy's thread suggest, >to see if these things be so< that you claim Adam7777 is getting wrong or teaching??? Your disrespectful here in this great thread of Ivy's! In a nutshell... Did Yah'shua have an earthly VIRGIN mother, that was ALWAYS a virgin until giving birth to the Messiah??? Yes, Flat Teddy, those opposed to the Trinity are guilty of a historic heresy. Throughout history, you guys go away with your head in your hands after getting beat down so bad by simple reason and scripture. Then, eventually, when the church gets doctrinally lax again, you guys start popping up to push your ridicules heresies. Simple minds and gullible anti-Berean (in practice) believe you. Post Reply
