homelesschristian View Profile History	christian nationalism the good the bad & the ugly 🤠➰🇺🇲🇺🇲 Posted : 13 Aug, 2025 11:41 AM disclaimer ; this is another one of my cursory overviews of a few of the positions so feel free to elaborate the good 😇 there is a form of Christian Nationalism which doesn’t attempt to dominate the political process or to make the nation completely Christian but seeks instead to bring change by persuasion. Rather than trying to overthrow the government, adherents advocate their cause by supporting laws, electing candidates, podcasting, writing, and developing think tanks. They won’t force their opinions, but they also won’t back down from arguing for them the bad 🤬 Eliminating all dissent might sound attractive, and it certainly would allow governing authorities to get things done more quickly. But squashing dissent violates human liberty, equality, and the vision of the founding fathers. It requires coercion of and change from those who dissent. If taken to its logical conclusion, this Nationalism undermines the foundation of a free society the ugly 😝 Although we can affirm and even celebrate the role Christianity has played in America as a nation, America can’t ever be described as a “Christian nation.” No nation-state can be a Christian nation-state, because Christianity doesn’t work that way Not to mention this would demand a very millennial eschatology point of view Post Reply

Yeah, like you mentioned, depends how one defines his terminology and how he describes his position at the very start. The only “Christian Nationalism” I’m looking forward to is the time predicted in scripture when Jesus sets up his own kingdom and resigns as King without any assistance from false teaching weaklings on earth like the ones trying to set up the kingdom now. Some modern day Christian Nationalists seem to think Jesus will feel more welcome coming back to earth if they make the world more politically “Christian”‼️ 🫣 Sorry folks, Jesus didn’t need your help the first time he came in and he sure won’t need your help the second time around‼️ Post Reply

I think he assumes the non-dominant approach and he’s generally sound theologically but I’m not so sure I agree with everything he’s doing. Post Reply

Yes we do what we can in accordance with scripture to promote truth and righteousness. We do all we can to preach the gospel. But we know that things will ultimately get worse, like in the days of Noah. The Anti-Christ will set up his short lived kingdom only to have it decimated by Jesus. Post Reply

I am not here for you Men teaching. He seems to know how to not Bash True Christian men and Women over just everything. God leads humble men not prideful arrogant men. Pride goes before a fall. My excellent intelligent Men Teachers are lead by God. So are many in good Churches where the Truth of Scripture is taught. How viewers reads HC postings. :) You others Ruing many of the Topics good on this whole Dating site. Most Christian Women Members avoid these forums posting. Seeking a Christian man with character!
