Posted : 16 Nov, 2025 02:36 AM I get my hopes up to see another rude letter always saying no one could ever care about me or saying I say that's what I want in my profile. Just got another one. Saying so you're looking for someone who won't care about you, well I never would care so that's perfect. That's the jist of it. Cold hearted hate mail usually starts with hi cute or you have such a nice smile before they smack that smile off with hurtful words. Remember no one can possibly love someone like you Post Reply

Posted : 16 Nov, 2025 04:56 AM Yourprayers post don't fit the norms of typical interactions. They just don't sound real of genuine. Scammers rarely go on the attack and if you don't look like easy pickens they just move on to the next patsy. Non scammers also don't want to waste time on people who they aren't interested in. Your post just don't smell right and you're either leaving out a lot of information or just making things up to get attention. And if you are getting these kinds or reactions then you're probably the one starting them. Post Reply

First I scan and glance. If someone writes nothing in their profile, I do not write them. THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SAY. Then I have nothing to say. But I screen the profiles. I may not write someone after reading their profiles. Why waste words? But it is all a waste of words. Throwing out words. Casting them upon the water and see what returns. Post Reply

Posted : 16 Nov, 2025 08:45 AM There's a huge difference between women and men when it comes to the attention each gets. When an average and below man puts up a profile the chances he's going to get any meaningful responses from women is slim and none. On the other hand when a women puts up a profile it doesn't matter if she's attractive or not she's going to get lots of meaningful attention. A very small portion of that attention may also come from men asking for inappropriate pictures or sending ones of their junk. But the vast majority of the responses are from decent men. But for whatever reason all the post from perfectly good men are ignored and we either hear complaints about the perverts or complaints that there aren't any good men. Post Reply

I did! 😂 Guys here cannot answer as to why you get those nasty messages because we're not the ones sending them and unless they literally tell you why, you can only speculate as to what you think their intent might be. It does seem unusual that you, being a woman and a widow would be getting so many hateful messages on a Christian site, of all places, but even if it were a secular site, that's not a common phenomenon. Most men are much more into trying to send messages that would be well received, not hateful degrading messages. I agree with HM in that something doesn't add up with that. Maybe open up your restrictions to receive more messages from more people. I don't know 🤷‍♂️ Post Reply
