These are some (but not all) of mine:

1) King Kong (1933);

2) War of the Worlds (1953);

3) The Cowboys (John Wayne);

4) Casablanca;

5) High Noon;

6) Terminator 2;

7) The Matrix;

8) True Grit (2011);

9) Jurassic Park; and

10) Saving Private Ryan.

I also like the animated flicks like

1) Despicable Me

2) Toy Story

3) Up (this one brought me to tears)

4) And probably anything by Disney.

Gosh so many I love Rogers and Hammerstein musicals, West Side Story, original Romeo and Juliet, 10 commandments, The Passion of the Christ, Old Fashioned, Blindside, Notebook, Fire Proof, Courageous, War Room, Shenandoah, 7 brides for seven brothers, Quiet man, McClintock, Sound of Music, South Pacific, Operation Petticoat, Father Goose, lots of the old western's, good clean comedy movies. Abbott & Costello, Mae West movies with WC Fields, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby , so many more Singing in the rain etc . Lots of new ones but most will no longer meet up to my Christian standards. Honoring Him even in this is very important .

I like those old Abbot & Costello movies, along with Bob Hope / Bing Crosby and others as well. I do not list them among my favorites of all time, but I always enjoy those characters.

Generally I don't like Christian films because they are not well-made. The same effort and/or resources are not invested as in those made my worldly writers and directors.

Perhaps I'm being harsh, but there's no excuse for this. You can write a good story, get good acting and dialogue, and you don't need $200,000,000 to get it. The Blair Witch Project is a good example of a well-made film (IMO) on a super-low budget. So is Passion of the Christ. It can be done and should be done.

Almost anything Bogart made. except Sabrina simply because i don't like Audrey Hepburn. I think my favorite is Treasure of Sierra Madre -- but there are so many its hard to choose.

I also like Kingdom of Heaven, which is Crusaders vs. Muslim leader Saladin. It's reasonably accurate and visually wonderful. There's a lot of good lessons in it.
