How is your search for love in the cyber world going?
Posted : 22 Jan, 2011 10:43 PM

Are people just too picky for there own good? Possibly overlooking some one worth while in hopes of finding some one better?

Yes. The problem with the dating site's I've seen is they give people too many matches. People end up being way too picky. I wish these sites would drastically cut down on the number of matches offered. It would make the whole process easier.

Use of the word hero
Posted : 21 Jan, 2011 04:50 PM

Do people (in general) overuse the word hero? I've seen sports athletes/politicians/military personnel/celebrities/etc called heroes. Really none of those people are heroes. Only Jesus can truly be considered a hero. I feel that to refer to those other folks as heroes takes away from what Jesus did.

What percentage (roughly) of the messages you get are from "creepy guys"?

1. B. The woman's profile does not match your requirements

If I saw things that I felt wouldn't be a good fit, I'd just skip along.

2. D. Other (please explain)

If she was interested, I'd hope the she would add me to favorites.

I'd say it's because Philippine women are less likely to play games then American women are. They have no problem making first contact whereas American women, in general, refuse to do so.

How come I'm ignored a lot?

I disagree. I have no problem at all with the "sorry, not interested" button. It's being ignored entirely that I feel is rude.

What's wrong with someone that's, say, 5'9"? He would still be half a foot taller than you. Why pick 6'0" as the arbitrary cutoff point?

I think it's fine. Better than no response.
