Hi, Nice to Meet You, But Don't Look at My Stomach

I am curious how much of a turn-off the spare tire is on a guy (spare tire = unsightly excess weight around your stomach). I've been working out for months and eating right, but this is the most difficult area to lose weight in. It's unfortunate, but when the rest of your body looks ok, the one problem area sticks out in comparison.

I think it all depends on the person. I've dated guys who were thin and guys with a "spare tire". I think if your confident with yourself that is what will show through and the rest won't matter.

Personally, I dun think it's a problem for me since physical appearance is not my number one. But I do concern of health issues, I heard that if the waist size is bigger than the hip size then some health problems may be attached on that.

It doesn't bother me at all.

Are we talking about a tractor tire or a donut?

Depends on how many spares you're carrying. I know a guy that looks about 11 months pregnant. That's too many spares. On the other hand, my dad has a bit of a gut, but it's because he doesn't work out, not because he's overweight. I'm ok with that.

Haven't you heard that expression: You can tell if a fella is on the level if his bubble is in the middle

That said..... it does not bother me at all; I prefer it. Excessive weight --- i.e. 50 or more pounds --- would bother me.

I know what you're going through, SilverFire. I'm trying to work off my spare tire too, at least when I have the time to do so.

Maybe I need a little more of this: :dancingp:

Or this: :boxing:

Or this: :bouncy:

Almost everyone has a gut. I even have one. I mean my goodness, when I was looking at my profile in the mirror, it was scary! I'm surprised I haven't been being congratulated by people on my "upcoming new arrival":ROFL::ROFL: I seriously look about 4 months pregnant. I'm not overweight, but I have a gut certainly. I'm trying to get it under control because my family has issues with this and it's a health issue if I don't make effort to be more healthy. But I guess, my point is, everyone has a little flab somewhere, and if they don't, then that's unusual. Not necessarily bad (I'm not sure if Jennifer Aniston has even a pinch of fat on her, but then that's what those thousands she pays to her personal trainer are for, hahaha), but not the norm. What's important is if you're healthy.

The health factor is #1. For me, #2 is a little strange, but it's true so I'll just say it. I won't marry a guy who I'm afraid will crush me when we're having sex. I am very small and I have claustrophobia, not to mention I bruise easily. And obviously when we get married, that becomes a factor... Is that weird to say?

It does not matter much to me if I am in love with someone...I would go with him to the gym and make it a great fun time...

i like a little extra meat on a man...never dug skinny guys.

you dont need to be perfect on the outer, the right girl wont even see that, she will see you on the inside where it counts.

dont worry about it.
