Brethren, please share your thoughts on this. When you see the sign off "B'Loved", what do you think?

A - BELOVED: as in John the Be-loved

B - Be loved: as in 'you (the reader) are being offered love'

C - Be loved: as in 'I (the writer) want to "be loved"

D - Something else (please fill in the gap)

Curious me!

B'Loved :-)

would you ask?...
Posted : 9 Jun, 2009 05:50 PM

ole cattleman, well, here comes into play, my old school views on man/woman.

"would you ask a guy out". Nope, period! Even if I hadnt just met him across the store :-)

Sorry, no pride intended, but mennnnn, a man's got to do the fishing and not vice versa! I am infact, just warming up to the idea of initiating simple e-contact.

Am I too old to ever find love and start a family?

Angelgirl,

As I read your post, this song came to my heart and I feel led to share it with you. Its out of Psalms 46:

"There is a river joy

That flows through the city of God

This river keeps on flowing forevermore

There is a river of joy

That flows through the city of God

Be still and know

That I am the Lord (repeat)

Although the mountains may crumble

(there is a river a joy)

You've heard the war cannons rumbel

(there is a river a joy)

You've seen mighyt men stumble

But I give grace to those who are humble

Be still for I am the Lord

CHORUS

-------------

There is a river joy

That flows through the city of God

This river keeps on flowing forevermore

There is a river of joy

That flows through the city of God

Be still and know

That I am the Lord

"

May you find strength in quietness and trusting confidence. REST in God. He desires good for you more than you can ask.

Take your own advice, dear and "always remember to put Him first in everything that you do". I have found that the times I felt agitated correllate 100% with the times when I strayed from his intimate 24/7 bossom.

scars
Posted : 9 Jun, 2009 04:08 PM

Personally, I have learned much about life from friends with "scars" - Mostly emotional scars, but one with a physical handicap. They seem to have a spiritual perspective on life that indicates that their situation has pushed them to drink from the very depths of Christ's love and wisdom. I love that and learn a ton from it. I learned about TRUE forgiveness from one such friend, and COMPASSION from another.

So, if a man had pretty good sized scars, would that bother me and make me not see them? I guess not.

Ladies (men too!) if you feel otherwise, would you REALLY give up a heart of gold for a face of gold? If yes, hmmm! May I gently challenge you to reconsider your readiness for relationship?. What if s/he became maimed after marriage?

heh heh :-)

well said, prairiewriter, we are all learning. He is working on us unto perfection.

You know, Teri, I dont want to give up my learner's permit as well. I love HIM being the pilot and I know I cant do the navigation on my own. That makes 100% dependence on my father sooo assuring!!!

Welcome aboard sis! Fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride with daddy!
