Help Meet For HimPosted : 4 Nov, 2025 11:59 AMGod made man in His own image, after His own likeness, for the glory of God. God made woman of the man, for the man, for the glory of the man. He did a very good thing. |

Help Meet For HimPosted : 5 Nov, 2025 05:30 PM@Moonlight7 I'm reminded of what Jesus said to Saul on the road to Damascus. Saul was highly educated in the teachings of the pharisees. He was a pharisee of pharisees, which would equate to a senior professor of theology in today's society. Jesus said "It is hard for thee to kick against the p*icks." The p*icks were devices that secured horses to the carriage and if they bucked or kicked against them, it would only cause them pain and would never free them from the confines they're in. So it is when people fight against the Lord. God's words do not change. He means exactly what he says. There are no contradictions in any of the words of God, nor are there any private interpretations of any of the prophecies of the scriptures. When we believe something that is in conflict with God's words, we are believing something that is not true. No matter how hard one might try to make scripture appear to agree with whatever that may be, all they end up doing is causing themselves anguish and they cannot escape the snares that they are in. It's much better to acknowledge the truth than to fight against it. |
