Illegal work
Posted : 8 Jul, 2022 02:19 AM

God doesn't respect national borders, nor for that matter do most governments... Wars... Famines... Civil strife... Hunger

.. The list goes on... You may argue that the laws of the land take precedence over the universal declaration of human rights which does not recognise the limitations that nationalistic governments impose on citizens and aliens alike but where ever there is tyranny there must be a response by the people and illegal migration is one such response. Men need to work and provide for their families and if that means that they have to walk across deserts and work in underpaid jobs and run terrible risks and be disrespected because of their immigration status then you should recognise the strength it takes to be a undocumented alien.. Give God the glory.. Give grace to your friend and love him even though an illegal worker... You're not on this planet to judge... You're on this planet to demonstrate Jesus's total commitment to fulfilling the Fathers will... Leave God to judge the sinner.

nice photo of the songbird....beautiful song...sad about the cage...then again perhaps the only way to hear the song is to keep the songbird captive...interesting paradox

This is a guy question because I am a guy and because I am intensely curious...have you ever found yourself in the curious position of being in" love" with someone online...I do not mean being in love with a cat or a tree or a dog but actually developing an emotional responsive bond with a woman who you have never actually met in the world of bricks and mortar?

From the way you have phrased your question I assume that you are unsure about the medium of introduction only. So ...make a choice. When you go to the supermarket you choose what cookies to buy and you strike up a conversation with a handsome prince charming or a not so handsome toad on the relative merits of one brand of cookie over another. You chat to the guy at the gas station and your smile makes his day although you may never see it ...You meet a guy at the cafe...blah blah...You chose to serve the Lord and He blesses you for it. Your choice.

The medium of the internet chat room is no different from any other medium of communication in life, except perhaps you must seek the gift of discernment in a greater measure. Make a choice based on relative merit to your lifestyle.

The Lord wants you in particular to exercise the gift of discernment, only then can you make choices based on His will. The medium of introduction is irrelevant.

Why always my country?

Truehermit, What a load of pious pig manure. If you had bothered to read what this lady wrote and then her corrections you would perhaps realise that your attempt at piety is a pathetic response and does little more than affirm the two faced nonsense that is espoused by the op.

Your profile says that you are looking for a man to be a loving husband who will serve the Lord, in essence. Now you are saying that you have a guy from the US who is going to come to the Phils. and marry you. So anyone looking at your profile would assume and rightly so that you were looking for that man. Sadly that is not the truth according to your current question. Perhaps you need to revisit your profile and make corrections. The truth is more important than your sense of national pride. And if you are involved with a guy why do you want to look at other guys profiles. Your priorities need to be seriously examined.

Should u settle?

Hey Kev...nice roster of benefits and unfortunately all so very true...I would add just two small "benefits" that should fittingly be placed at the end of your list and they, simply are: ...we have the benefit of hope(which is really faith) for tomorrow...for a better tomorrow with the grace of the Father of Lights... and, we have the benefit of wanting to aspire beyond the mediocre...

Prophetic words/words of destiny

I cannot see the prophetic mantle here, all I see are words of affirmation or encouragement. Now I am sure that your church leadership has considered the office of prophet and the differences between that and prophetic utterances but still I am unsure of the line between what is essentially personal prophecy or words of affirming the other person or encouragement and prophecy within a social and Biblical context.

The hate on homeschool
Posted : 19 Nov, 2014 11:27 PM

My children were homeschooled. In the beginning I was not sure about the socialisation and isolationist philosophies espoused by a lot of detractors. But I learned to sit my little daughters on my knee and read to them the poetry of Banjo Patterson and Edward Lear and I learned and they learned and we laughed together...we had fun and both daughters grew strong. My ex wife was right to insist on homeschooling and she taught our children well. Full kudos to her. Our daughters now both work for a government department and are strong in their faith. It is not easy having to bear the brunt of philosophical biases but the end result of their ability to learn and grow is a testimony to their individual strengths in their intellects and testimony to their faith in Jesus Christ. I suppose that as a father and very part time tutor to them it was an impetus for me to go back to school and then emulate them. I am proud of their achievements and the manner in which they conduct themselves. I would wholeheartedly stand with any parent who wishes for nothing but the very best for their children irregardless of the social cost. Mediocrity is insufficient. To encourage our children into mediocrity is to encourage that child to fail and the public education system can not take the place of loving and concerned moms and dads. Be encouraged.

I must ask, REAL ... or FAKE??
Posted : 26 Sep, 2014 11:05 PM

This site is filled with fakes...well well well...what a lot of tosh...yes there are some...filled with?...tosh...it would appear that there are a lot of people on this site who run fear filled because there are a number of people who are either fear mongers or enjoy creating a lot of drama...Are there some scammers? Yes there are some...There are also a lot of lonely people who are essentially looking for someone else to share their life with on this site...that is where the emphasis should lie...making healthy choices where fear is not an over riding factor...just another opinion.
