I cannot imagine what Jesus went through to save us. We are all so pathetic and undeserving, yet He loved us so much, He carried out the plan to save us. Thank you Lord.

Posted : 9 May, 2019 11:00 AM I was in a chat room last night and people were talking about praying for a man who was ill. one man said if a dog that had already had pups would lick the man, he would be healed. I looked at his profile thinking he may be a foreigner, but not really, he's from Canada. So I said there are many native cures that DO work, and that is where some of our meds are discovered. But a dog licking you does not cure you. He got very resentful, said i was disrespectful, etc. I decided to apologize, that I was not ridiculing his religion, only that Christ is the only healer. He said a few mean things and left the room. Thoughts?

You can work your fingers to the bone making mittens for poor children, but works alone does not give you everlasting life. It takes faith in all situations. Alligator View Profile	Pitfall on being too honest Posted : 8 May, 2019 08:00 PM I try not to talk too much about myself as i have had many good times, but some bad ones also. I prefer to see if the man has something to talk about besides sports and hunting. I like sports, so I can keep up with him there, but I also want to know about his family, if he has a dog, does he have a job, what is his favorite food. If he cannot tell me simple things like that, why should I talk and be honest about a divorce, a death and more. Both should take it a bit slow but keep it interesting. If its not interesting, it's not worthwhile to me.

I don't feel as old as I really am, and I would very much like to meet a man to email, have coffee, go to a flea market. But not desperate enough to line up with someone who is going to treat me badly, lie to me, And I won't end up being scammed. I can take my time. Actually I am much younger than some of our USA Senators who have served since dirt was invented LOL. Forget about being desperate and pray for a kind gentle person to contact you. That's what I am going to do.

I cannot help how you wish to interpret my posts, but i do not like you making fun of LittleDavid or myself. This is a conversation about Trump, NOT about the posters. It might interest you to know that new job numbers have been released yesterday May 3, showing the lowest percent of unemployed people of all colors in 30 years. Now THAT is news worth reporting. Again I urge you to start your own thread. I believe it could be interesting.

You have only negative things to say. You are rude to the other people posting I would suggest you start a thread of your own so you can present "your side of the story". Perhaps others feel like you do and they can post on your thread. You are adding nothing on here except your ugly remarks about other people. I believe our President could easily win over any of the Democrats that have said they are running for office. If anyone really wants to vote for a Democrat, perhaps they should take a quick trip to Venzuela to see how socialism is working out. Be sure to wear some heavy armor however, as the fighting and rioting has gotten quite rough.
