I will not argue the fact that the picture was very alluring, but something else bothered me. Why would a beautiful woman who claims to be a Born Again Christian display her body in such a manner on the internet for all the world to see? I'm sorry, I find it offensive that a Christian woman who is looking for a husband would display her body in such a manner. I certainly would not want my future wife advertising herself this way. "As a ring of gold in a swine's snout, so is a lovely woman who lacks discretion" (Proverbs 11:22). Yet judging by her angry letter, perhaps I was wrong and the woman was right: "Not my fault men like you can't get past their own flesh." So lets have your views ladies and gents on the subject of "Women and Bikinis" on a Christian dating site. Blessings in Christ, Paul Below is my letter to her: ********************************************************************** You are a beautiful lady, but you have diminished your beauty with the display of your bathing suit picture. It contradicts everything in your profile: "As for me and my house we shall serve the Lord" "that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel...which is proper for women professing godliness" (1 Timothy 2:9-10). Blessings, Paul ******************************************************************** Her response: ********************************************************************** Then don't view my profile U R 20 years older than me U R way 2 old Why would you even think of clicking onto my beach shot Please with the holier than thou Do U really think women read your blah blah blah novel profile A whole lot of ridiculous nothing No one would ever finish that in one sitting nor would want 2 Boring! U R not clever or righteous by any means Cast your stone somewhere else idiot truck driver & film maker That is laughable There is a reason U R single I advise U get a dog for companionship nothing worse than a jerk who spills out scripture with a bunch of nonsense and stupid icons I am listed on more favorite lists than any other woman here Perhaps it is your own lustful thoughts Exam your own perverted thoughts and convict yourself God made my body and I work hard to maintain my good health Only a man like you can take that and twist it into something impure Repent and do not view my profile again Do not respond I am not interested in your foolishness A true man of GOD can view my profile and find beauty only Your thoughts go past my intent You are disgusting for thinking such things of my pic I do serve the lord and I spend a lot of time on that very beach with my pocket bible. Do not let your adorning be external�the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear� but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. 1 Peter 3:3-4 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs31:30 Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness�with good works. 1 Timothy 2:9-10 Second Id like to say to you...Well at least you didn't waist too much time, it only took one email to get to know her!:laugh: Post Reply

I think this society has made it very hard for men and women to keep from lust and sadly I see so many women use the body to capture a man... The bible does tell us to be modest.... Oh and I am one of those overweight women she was talking about.... anyways I once had a "Marilyn figure" funny how both bodies types my experiences were that is what matters to most people is how you look on the outside I felt I was arm candy when I fit the world standards I want the man that God has for me regardless of imperfections if he is for me God will cause the attraction.... I think we should take care of ourselves but not to fit into this world standard... many overweight people are much healthier than some thin ones physically and many who seem to have it all together.......... well dig deep they are some of the most insecure hurting people.... I just want to give hurting hearts hugs... and serve God the best I can.... I want to love the unlovable and try not to judge even this sister who I see is blinded at this time and I pray God will heal her in the areas she needs... we all have those areas.... Bless you all and l pray we all start seeing others as Jesus sees them and because of him and his Amazing Grace!!!! I can be accepted into the King of Kings Kingdom praise the Lord!!!! Let's all stop thinking in human ways but seek Jesus thoughts through his words on all these issues..... judge not least you be judged and we don't live that person's life and never know what they go threw weather overweight, angry, smoke, etc.... we should all strive to please our Lord but none is perfect.... she was right none of us including her should cast the first stone... sadly she did and insulted and possibly hurt others with her insensitive remarks. serious4christ View Profile History	Women and Bikinis on a Christian dating site Posted : 18 Aug, 2012 11:51 AM i talked to a great lady from this sight on the phone and we must of talked over 4hrs!!! she told me that in no way over 90% of the women on any christian sight will know as much bible as you do. after dating some women on this sight i realize a lot out there don't have a CLUE to what Christianity is, but it is great that some are Christians, and live a humble and powerful faithful life style. so this is my bottom line to secular women you meet on here....just be the light of Christ you need to be to her,and sooner or later by your example in Christ she will KNOW in her heart she needs to repent and be baptized into Christ. be patient are realize what Paul said in the Word>>>>CHRIST DIED FOR US WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS....wow!!! so be patient, be humble, and who knows if you end up having one change, and you marry her, she just might pass you up in about 3 yrs in your knowledge and maturity in Christ!!! i have seen it before in my own church several times in my 36yrs in Christ. serious4christ View Profile History	Women and Bikinis on a Christian dating site Posted : 18 Aug, 2012 12:01 PM 99.9% DO NOT know how to use the word JUDGE. as Christians we judge all day long to take the path of light or the path of sin in all we do. now as far as judging those inside and outside the church is talking about THAT YOU JUDGE THEM STRAIGHT TO HELL and that is up to Jesus, but for you mature in Christ you know what you have heard over the decades in your walk with God is to hate the sin but still love the sinner,,,, the more light you shed into a secular or weak sister in the Lord the more the Holy Ghost will put on their heart that they need to repent, just keep loving them unconditionally. Some people are more conservative and some are just more liberal minded. That sounds good enough for me. I don't think that man should have made a public post of his opinion for all the world to see. Reminds me of the fellows who wanted to throw a stone, and Jesus didn't even talk to the guys. The girl loved the Lord even more, for his kindness. I think a married woman probably would not send a swim suit photo to the internet dating site. I'm a little surprised that the guy used scripture to embarrass the girl publicly. I wouldn't want to be married to a man that rude toward any woman. He could have not sent that scripture so stingingly to her. He could have simply stated his opinion privately... not publically making a spectacle of a young woman. Sad really. Nasty man. Ha ha. It might be nice to give the other women less competition, but well, everyone has a right to live, and be themselves, at different times of life. Post Reply

I dont see any offense in the message u sent her. She was just not in a right state of mind to accept such a correction. If only she could see it from a right perspective she would gain more from it. I pray God will speak to this lady and that the Holy Spirit will convict her! Looks like she's hurting on the inside badly ..her reply seems very defensive which is what most of us as humans try to be although that is not what we should be all the time!
